ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS THROUGH USE
Welcome to Lamourcyprusweddings.com. This website is provided by Lamour Cyprus Weddings Ltd., with participating partners. By using this site, you signify your agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices contained or referenced herein (Terms and Conditions). We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Please check the Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of this site and our services following the posting of any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
PRICING
All prices quoted on our website are in Euros and are correct at the time of publication. Where equivalent prices in other currencies are given, these are approximations based on the exchange rate at time of publication. We cannot be held responsible for the exchange rate fluctuation against the sterling pound or any other currency at time of booking. Prices are also subject to change throughout the year. We will notify our customers of any price changes to items within a package and offer the option to cancel an item which is subject to a price increase, should the client wish to do so.
WEDDING COSTS AND PAYMENT
Once instructed to act as your wedding company lamour will book , confirm your wedding date and time in writing .A letter of confirmtion and your invoice will be sent to you via e mail or fax .You will be required to pay a small deposit at this time which we will agree with yourselves and we can agree a payment plan if required .
Final payment will be required six weeks before your arrival time in Cyprus.
Payments may be paid by credit card over the telephone or by bank transfer (we will send you our bank details).
If final payment is not received by the due date Lamour reserves the right to cancel your wedding and offer your wedding date to other parties.
EXCUSION OF LIABILITY
Lamour Cyprus Weddings cannot be held responsible for any alterations to policy, prices, venue specifications, schedules, menus etc. made by hotels or venue owners and operators or for any changes to your wedding time or date made by the municipality, church or hotel involved.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure you bring the correct and orginal legal paperwork with you to Cyprus. Details of the documents required can be found in our “legalities” section. Failure to bring the original and correct documents may result in your wedding being cancelled.
CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
If a client wishes to cancel the wedding this MUST be done in writing by e mail or fax .In the event of a cancellation by the client, the following cancellation charges will be made:
Cancellation Period Before Wedding Charge as a Proportion of Total
3 months 100 %
6 months 75 %
9 months 50 %
12 months 20 %
The relevant charge will be deducted before any refund is made.
Lamour advises you take out travel and wedding insurance to cover yourselves against cancellation.
CANCELLATION BY LAMOUR CYPRUS WEDDINGS
We reserve the right to cancel any booking if faced with Force Majeure, (i.e. unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not avoid). These include but are not limited to oversight or errors by third parties, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or the threat of any of these. If we make such a cancellation, we will offer the client comparable alternative arrangements or a refund of all monies paid in respect of the client’s booking.
It sometimes, if rarely, occurs that other situations arise, of a local nature, which are equally beyond our control. These include but are not limited to, failure of equipment, loss of water supply, loss of electricity supply or loss of access etc. If the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable time period, then we will offer alternative, comparable or better arrangements. This offer applies only in the case of problems with an individual venue. It does not apply, for instance, to an area wide loss of services.
COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint during your stay regarding your wedding arrangements, you must inform our representative immediately and that person will do their best to resolve the problem .We will not entertain complaints submitted retrospectively if we were not informed at the time of the occurrence.
